Alyson Vosberg, ARNP
Alyson is a highly accomplished medical provider dedicated to advancing patient-centered care. Alyson earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Winona State University in 2011. She launched her career as an ICU nurse at Genesis in Davenport and later served as an oncology nurse at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, supporting patients through critical and complex stages of care.
While working in oncology, Alyson pursued her Master’s degree at Allen College in Waterloo, where she graduated at the top of her class with her ARNP in Family Practice in 2016. She started her career as an Internal Medicine provider at UnityPoint Health in Des Moines from 2016 to 2019, then returned to Ames to serve the community as a family practice provider at McFarland Clinic North until the end of 2025.
Driven by a passion for holistic, root-cause medicine, Alyson began her Functional Medicine education through the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) in the fall of 2024, completing her coursework at the end of 2025. Today, Alyson co-owns and operates Synergy Health in Johnston, Iowa, alongside her husband, Dr. Brock Vosberg. She continues to blend her deep clinical expertise with a commitment to personalized, integrative care for every patient she serves.
