Chiropractic & Rehabilitation FAQs

What conditions do chiropractors and rehabilitation specialists commonly treat?

Chiropractors routinely help with back pain, neck pain, headaches, sciatica, sports injuries, joint pain, muscular tension, and issues related to poor posture or movement dysfunction.

What services are available at Synergy Health’s chiropractic clinic?

Synergy Health provides chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue work, movement-based rehabilitation, injury prevention, and supportive therapies such as dry needling and corrective exercise.

How does insurance billing work at Synergy Health?

For chiropractic services, Synergy Health bills insurance when eligible and is in network with most major carriers, including BCBS, UHC, UMR, Health Partners, Cigna, Aetna, Midlands Choice, and Medicare. Please note: we are not in network with BCBS HMO or Medicaid plans. Learn more about pricing.

What does Medicare cover in chiropractic care?

Medicare covers only spinal manipulation (chiropractic adjustments) and does not pay for exams, X-rays, therapies, or rehabilitation services provided by chiropractors. ChiroHealthUSA is an excellent way to obtain discounted pricing on services Medicare does not cover.

What payment options are available for high-deductible plans, military personnel, or self-pay patients?

ChiroHealthUSA is a great alternative for patients with high-deductible insurance plans, Medicare, military families, or those paying out-of-pocket. This membership program ($49/Year) provides access to capped, discounted rates for all covered chiropractic services at Synergy Health.

Is Synergy Health in network with my insurance provider?

We are in network with most commercial insurance carriers including BCBS, UHC, UMR, Health Partners, Cigna, Aetna, Midlands Choice, and Medicare. We are not in network with BCBS HMO plans or Medicaid. If you have questions about specific coverage, our office is happy to assist.

Is dry needling covered by insurance?

Dry needling is no longer covered by any commercial insurance plans when performed by a chiropractor or physical therapist (coverage is limited to MDs and DOs). At Synergy Health, dry needling is a cash-charge service, but it can be bundled affordably for ChiroHealthUSA members.

What can I expect during my first chiropractic visit?

Your initial visit includes a detailed history, focused physical examination, movement assessment, and personalized treatment plan. Treatment may include manual adjustments, soft tissue therapies, and therapeutic exercise.

How long are chiropractic appointments, and how frequent are visits?

At Synergy Health, appointments are intentionally longer than average to ensure you receive thorough, personalized care. New patient visits typically last 60 minutes, while follow-up appointments are about 30 minutes. The frequency of your visits will depend on your unique needs and treatment goals—your provider will tailor a plan just for you.

What makes Synergy Health’s chiropractic care unique?
